Resolved Failed healthchecks from certain geographies
We're getting failed healthchecks for our infrastructure for certain European locations. Currently Stockholm, SE and Paris, FR. Investigating this now. Things seem to be okay from all other locations.
Resolved ReadMe Outage in India
We're currently investigating an issue with Indian customers unable to access ReadMe dash/hubs. We will update once we have more information on this.
Resolved Cloudflare DNS outage
Cloudflare DNS outage affected all hub sites and dashboard access. It seems to be back up now but we're monitoring. https://readmestatus.com is also behind cloudflare, so was inaccessible. We'll be migrating away to another DNS provider for this domain when things settle down.
Resolved ReadMe Downtime
At 8:00pm PST, we noticed degraded performance on both our hub and dash sites. This was due to an influx of traffic from an unexpected source, resulting in unoptimized load to our databases. We've taken necessary measures to counteract this and rectify it going forward. We'd like to apologize for any inconvenience it may have caused. All sites should once again be fully operational.
Resolved Intermittent Service
Degraded performance including 500 errors and slow loading time or timeouts for the last 20 minutes. Still investigating...
Resolved Cloudflare Origin Issues - Israel
We're seeing reports of some Israeli customers intermittently unable to access our application due to Origin DNS errors. The issue is identified as an interaction of our origin servers and our DNS provider, Cloudflare. We are currently working towards a solution and will provide updates as we progress.
Resolved Dysfunctional Save Button
What happened? Around 5:14pm PST on Tuesday March 31st we shipped an improvement to our search indexing which also caused the Save button to malfunction on pages with a link of any sort. An error also appears when attempting to merge suggested edits. Note: The pages are actually being saved, but the broken UX makes it appear that the pages are not saving. When will it be fixed? Engineering has identified the root cause and is working on a fix right now, we'll update this incident when the issue has been fully resolved.
Resolved DNS Errors with Legacy CNAME
We're received some downtime in our hubs for customers with custom domains and DNS records pointing to our legacy CNAME address. This has been subsequently resolved.
Resolved Request timeouts in the dash
We are currently investigating an increase in request timeouts. Dash appears to be affected more than the hubs at this stage.
Resolved Downtime across dashboard and hubs
We are currently investigating some downtime across our dash and hubs. Suspected issue upstream at Heroku, we are looking into it now and will update when we know more.
