Impact Statement: Starting at 00:43 UTC on 26 Oct 2022, customers using Azure Cosmos DB in East US may experience issues accessing services. New connections to databases in this subscription in this region may result in an error or timeout. Existing connections remain available to accept new requests, however if those connections are terminated then re-establishing them may fail.Workaround: Customers with single region write multiple regions read, they can failover the account. Customers with multi-region write accounts, they can remove the traffic from EAST US.Current status: We have identified that this issue was caused due to a code regression that was introduced as part of a recent deployment. We are working to move affected customers to another cluster to mitigate the issue.
